What I love about naturopathic medicine is the amazing and accelerated healing that goes on when a patient removes the obstacles to cure and begins to celebrate their own health. For me, it is a very exciting adventure to be a part of. I get a great amount of excitement to see how quickly a patient’s health can change. I know in my heart that these changes of awareness will forever impact the patient and their family’s lives.

I sing the praises of naturopathic medicine to everyone I meet. First of all, I embody energy. That is very intriguing for a lot of people. The spark of true vitality is what many people are missing. Many times, all I have to do is tell people what I see in their face, through their skin, and in their posture. I can make suggestions that will forever change their health with just those elements of information. And because I focus on nutrition, herbal medicine, and bioidentical hormones, I can do lab tests that many doctors don’t consider doing that can give a wealth of information! When most of what we know comes from doctors who spend one to three minutes with a patient, it is INVALUABLE to spend an hour and get all your questions answered.

I am so honored to be a naturopathic physician. It makes me feel humble that patients create a space of healing for me to inhabit with them. I have the opportunity to be with people when they are able to change their entire lives (and by the nature of change, it changes their children’s lives, their family’s lives, and their friends’ lives). I am always amazed at the chain reaction I see.
